I'm off bright and early this morning (well, early anyway -- it's gloomy and raining in Nome right now) with 3 Corporate Charter passengers headed to McGrath. That works out fine for me, because it gets me nearly 300 miles closer to my goal!
Once I get above 3000ft, the skies clear and yesterdays tailwind returns. Things are definitely looking up!

Just a quick stop to exchange my passengers. I now have 3 Military passengers, and they are in for a treat. On our way to Eielson Air Force Base, we will do a slight detour to the south to get a spectacular view of Denali (Mount McKinley).
