Heading to Hong Kong, part I

Start:  NZWN, 0644; $3364.15 and 40gal

It's going to be a long, lonely day today. After a fabulous visit to New Zealand, I must be on my way. My next intentional destination is Hong Kong, which is only 5,100 miles away! So, I'll reverse part of my flight here, and head north back to Norfolk Island. From there, I'll head northwest as FSE allows.

To start on a brighter note, though, I've deposited another v$10,000 in the bank. And I have 3 Air New Zealand passengers going to Whangarei.

End: NZWR, 1023; $5069.80 and 54gal

I'm on my own for the rest of the day, and most of the flight will be over the Tasman and Coral Seas. So, not much to see; not much to comment on. I've filled the tank, and I'm off to Norfolk Island, a mere 518 miles away!

End: YSNF, 1633; $4917.65 and 54gal

And now for something completely different! I'm heading north to Tontouta in Noumea, New Caledonia, a little over 400 miles away. It'll be dark long before I get there, so I'm filing an IFR flight plan for this leg.

End: NWWW, 2125; $4917.65 and 20gal

Total Distance Flown:  27,531 nautical miles
