What a surprise! A colleague of mine from the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences has been following this blog, and tracked me down at my hotel last night. He lives here in Israel, and he's insisted that I come spend some time with him and his family. He'll give me a true local's tour of Israel, and quite a bit of fascinating history. I'm going to take him up on his offer.
In addition, I'm about to take a week-long vacation in real life as well. I will be back on August 10....
